Census

The Firm

A boutique built on three decades of practice.

Census is a boutique business advisory firm established in 2015 and headquartered in Orlando, Florida, built on more than three decades of its professionals' experience. We advise companies and business-owning families within a single mandate, from the first diagnosis through to the recurring oversight of the business.

Census is an advisory firm and does not provide legal services: where a decision requires a legal act, the work is specified and coordinated with the client's counsel or with partner law firms.

Leadership

Dário Blum

President & Chief Executive Officer

More than three decades in business, finance and transaction structuring. Leads structuring, capital, M&A and restructuring mandates directly, with personal dialogue with financial institutions, investors and business-owning families. In the boutique model there is no hand-off to junior teams and no layers between the client and the decision.

Our Approach

Sector fluency

Deep knowledge of the client's sector and business, not mere geographic proximity.

Integration

Management, finance, sector and the legal dimension articulated in a single mandate.

Boutique & discretion

The mandate is led by whoever took it on, with senior attention and strict confidentiality.

End-to-end execution

From diagnosis to signature and oversight — accountable for the outcome, not only the opinion.

Method & Working Discipline

Every recommendation can be traced back to its source.

I

Primacy of primary sources

Signed instruments, statutes, court decisions, original statements and public registries.

II

Traceability

Every material assertion carries its source, verification method, degree of certainty and remaining gap.

III

Explicit degrees of certainty

Documented, probable, technical interpretation or working hypothesis — stated before the conclusion.

IV

Mandatory human review

No document reaches a client, counterparty, investor or public body without senior sign-off.
